Hate Campaign
This hate campaign by various disgruntled ex-employees is really taking it out of me. I mean, I was insecure enough about my position up to now, being somewhat bound in terms of job prospects by impending ankle surgery, but this? I hope it all just goes away.
It sounds childish, but all I want is to do my job, get paid and have a fairly relaxed life... not too much to ask, is it?

Heh... it's a sad state of affairs when you have to reply to your own posts :D
Anyhow... can't prejudice my situation now, so I'll drop the steaming turd that is the truth of the GMV situation.
It was a good company with some great products and absolutely shite management. The 'hate campaign' was more like a few disgruntled employees getting shirty... sure, they could have handled it differently... better even, but people will do as they do.
Long story short... I (and many others) are still suffering the fallout. Presumably, I'm one of the lucky few who were paid by Paracletes rather than GMV and was therefore protected by the Dept. of ET and E when the holy ghost wooo'd his last wooo. As for the others... poor fuckers :(
